University of Suffolk is a modern and unique institution that offers both full time and part time programs within the seven departments: Arts and Humanities; Children, Young People, and Education; Health Studies; Nursing Studies; Psychology, Sociology and Social Work; Science and Technology and Health; and Suffolk Business School. The university offers a more personal academic experience, different from the rest, keeping the best of the traditional British university, but suitable for the 21st century and the current labor market.

The diplomas offered by the University of Suffolk are recognized by two top universities in the UK, the University of East Anglia and the University of Essex. The institution has a network of centers in Suffolk and Great Yarmouth. The main office is located in Ipswich Waterfront and offers state-of-the-art facilities, including clinical and sports laboratories, an innovation center and a VERT (Virtual Environment for Radiotherapy Training) center.
